The process of field seaming completely seals the interlocking panels of the MSC (Mechanically Seamed Construction) standing seam roof, creating an outstanding weather tightness characteristic and a UL90 wind resistance rating for strength.  Chief's articulating clips work with the MSC roof panel to reduce binding and friction during expansion and contraction.
